02 · The house
Chocolate for giving, and a café to sit in.
LINNÉ makes chocolate to be given: the everyday gift, the occasion, the corporate order. It also keeps a café that pours the same chocolate hot. One name has to hold all of it, in Arabic and in English.
The café front: the Arabic in relief above the door, the Latin on the awning.
03 · The mark
One name, drawn twice.
An Arabic wordmark and a Latin one, made as a pair: flat strokes, clipped ends, and dots cut as short slanted bars.
The Latin is set in Gilroy Light.
The Arabic is set in Neirizi.
04 · One cut, two alphabets
The dots of the Arabic are cut as short bars, on a slant.
The Latin takes the same cut for the accent on the E.
05 · Colour
Three colours, each with a name.
Floral White, Olive Leaf and Midnight Violet, named in the file. Pick one to copy its hex.
The palette board, rebuilt from what it prints.
The olive poster. Point at the square and it trades places with the leaf.
06 · Pattern
One rounded step, repeated.
Each row is a single band that steps up and down. Set every other row half a step along and a four-point star opens between them.
Maamoul over the pattern, held back to a sixth of its strength.
The pattern cut into a coin, beside the badges it sits with.
07 · Gifting
Made to be given.
Boxes in the brand's colours, a card for Eid, a ribbon woven with the Arabic name and a piece pressed with the Latin one.
The boxes: the Arabic name on olive, the Latin on cream, and A Sweeter Moment on the dark one.
An Eid card in Arabic calligraphy, the Latin name set under it.
Ribbon with the Arabic name woven into it.
A piece pressed with the Latin name.
The olive box, Pure Chocolate Pleasure on the lid.
08 · The table
Paper for the counter.
A card with the address in Qurum, a menu of coffee and hot chocolate, a stitched jacket for the kitchen and a poster for the cake.
The card: the Latin on olive, and on cream the address in Qurum, Muscat, the site and the handle.
The menu: coffee on one card, four hot chocolates on another.
The kitchen wears the Latin name.
Rich.
Soft.
Refined.
The cake poster, rebuilt: the grained olive band, the wordmark, and a cream card with a scalloped edge carrying the cake.
09 · Campaign
Posters that speak softly.
A photograph and one line each: made to melt slowly, sweetness made to feel a little lighter, for meaningful moments.
Rebuilt from the file: the photographs are its own, and every word and letter on them is its own outline.
A sweeter moment.
