Brands selling nostalgia or humanity send conflicting signals with machined precision. The NBC peacock from 1956 relies primarily on radial circular construction. The 8-point grid does not create great logos but it stops good geometric ones from turning into sloppy inconsistent messes the moment they leave your hands.
